How do I Clear my browser cache in Microsoft Edge

Cause

The browser cache needs cleared periodically in order to have the most current data within the browser and to remove any old saved data that may inhibit the functionality of the browser.

Resolution/Answer

  1. In Microsoft Edge, click on the 3 dots at the top right of the screen.
  2. Select Settings in the menu that appears.
  3. Select "Privacy, Search, and Services" in the next window.
  4. Then select "Choose what to clear" in the Clear Browsing Data section of the middle of the screen.
  5. In the Time Range dropdown, select "All time" and then be sure that "Cookies and Other Site data" and "cached Images and Files" are both checked.
  6. Then click on the Clear Now button. 
  7. Once your cache is cleared, we recommend closing your browser entirely and reopening for the changes to take full effect.
