Sharing Screen with NEAT Bar in Denver Summit Room

Issue/Question

Denver Summit Neat bar typically freezes screen share within 2-3 minutes and doesn't allow any more sharing.

Cause

Unknown at this time, but this is a functional workaround.

Resolution/Answer

The work-around to share your screen in the Denver Summit room:

  1. Join your meeting on the tablet on the conference room table: 
  2. Once in the meeting, Invite yourself to the meeting.
    • (On the tablet, touch the Invite button and then search for your name on the screen, then select Invite.)
    • (you must be signed into your Zoom application on your laptop)
      • If using the Boardroom laptop, sign in to Zoom application on the laptop, then invite generalcounsel@westmoreland.com (display name Westmoreland Mining) to the meeting on the tablet. 
  3. Join the meeting on your laptop. (it should ring)
  4. You should now be able to Share your screen from the zoom  meeting on your laptop.
    • Do NOT Share from the tablet, it will freeze on the TV screen.
