My Microsoft Office software has been updated and now things look funny in my Outlook.

Environment
The Environment section of an article should describe and encompass any factors that contribute to the issue/question. Examples of what should be included in the Environment section is information such as operating system, browser and version, make and model of machine, versions of the software, versions of software, or specific departments involved. If multiple factors are involved in the environment a tiered bulleting system should be used.

Cause
Microsoft automatically updates their products to the new "view" options when upgrading. You may see this happen periodically in different Microsoft products in the future.
Resolution/Answer
If you would like to revert your Microsoft Outlook view back to the classic or legacy view, follow these steps:
- Click on the waffle button on the left panel that opens your Options in Outlook.

- Select Options from the window that appears.
- When the Advanced Outlook Options window appears, uncheck the box that says Show Apps in Outlook.


- When you click OK Outlook will tell you to close the window in order for the changes to take effect.
- You should be back to the Classic view when you reopen your Outlook app.
