Sign in to DayForce / Ceridian

Issue/Question

I'm locked out of Ceridian / DayForce. (sign in issues)

Environment

The Environment section of an article should describe and encompass any factors that contribute to the issue/question. Examples of what should be included in the Environment section is information such as operating system, browser and version, make and model of machine, versions of the software, versions of software, or specific departments involved. If multiple factors are involved in the environment a tiered bulleting system should be used.

  • iPhone
    • DayForce Application

Cause

If a user attempts to sign in with the wrong information too many times, the system will lock their account. If they are locked out, they will need to be unlocked prior to another sign in attempt.

Resolution/Answer

Android:

  1. Open the DayForce / Ceridian app on your Android device. 
  2. Click on the Settings gear underneath the login button.
  3. Select the radio button next to Single Sign-On (SSO)
  4. Click Save and Continue.
  5. On the next screen, when you choose login, the app will take you to the Microsoft website to sign in with your Westmoreland computer login credentials.
  6. When you have successfully signed in, the DayForce app will display the homepage.

iPhone:

  1. Open the DayForce / Ceridian app on your Android device.
  2. Click on the Settings gear underneath the login button.
