View Emails older than 1 year in Outlook

How do I view emails older than 12 months old in my Outlook application?

Cause

User wanting to view or search for emails in the Outlook application that are older than 12 months (1 year).

Resolution/Answer

To have more than 1 year on your PC:

  1. Click on File.
  2. Then open Account Settings.
  3. Highlight the email address you need to change and click on Change.
  4. Adjust the slider to how far back you would like to go, then click on Next, then Done on the next screen.
  5. Then give it time to sync the older emails back to you.
