Issue/Question
Sometimes working in JDE the letters/characters will turn to unreadable or gibberish.
Cause
This has something to do the with the Cache folder with Windows Font and Adobe fonts.
Resolution/Answer
- Open the program "Services" as Admin
Then find the "Windows Font Cache Service" -> Right click on the service click on Properties -> Under the General tab change Start up Type to "Disabled"
- Next step is to delete anything inside the Cache folder. ->Open this C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp\acrord32_sbx
Inside of Acrod32_sbx -> Delete anything inside of this folder
- Also go into this folder -> C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp\acrord32_super_sbx
Inside of Acrord32_super_sbx -> Delete anything inside of this folder
- Now you need to clear your Cookies and Cache inside of either Edge or Chrome.
- After doing the above steps restart your computer. This should clear up your JDE unreadable characters.
