JDE Gibberish

Issue/Question

Sometimes working in JDE the letters/characters will turn to unreadable or gibberish.

Cause

This has something to do the with the Cache folder with Windows Font and Adobe fonts.

Resolution/Answer

  1. Open the program "Services" as Admin 
    Then find the "Windows Font Cache Service" -> Right click on the service click on Properties -> Under the General tab change Start up Type to "Disabled"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Next step is to delete anything inside the Cache folder. ->Open this C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp\acrord32_sbx
    Inside of Acrod32_sbx -> Delete anything inside of this folder
  3. Also go into this folder -> C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp\acrord32_super_sbx
    Inside of Acrord32_super_sbx -> Delete anything inside of this folderUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Now you need to clear your Cookies and Cache inside of either Edge or Chrome.
  5. After doing the above steps restart your computer. This should clear up your JDE unreadable characters.
