How do I reset my network password?
I am trying to logon to a Westmoreland PC and get the following error:
1. Open a new browser window on your phone, or a co-worker's computer.
2. When the window opens, you will need to open a private session. You can accomplish this by pressing the below Keyboard combination:
3. Internet Explorer / Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
Microsoft Edge / Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
4. In the private window, browse to https://aka.ms/sspr.
5. Enter your user account information, like testuser@westmoreland.com, the characters from the CAPTCHA, and then select Next.
6. You will then be asked to specify the issue you are currently experiencing.
Verify your identity by choosing your reset options (Multi-factor authentication)
7. Next, select the method of verification for you to receive a message. The system is required to identify you are the correct user.
8. Enter the code provided by the system.
9. Enter user account information to reset the password.
Once you have completed these steps, grab some water or coffee to allow the system time to synchronize. When you get back, you will log in with your new password.
